Was worth the wait and now I see why they are so busy. They did great work and gave me a loaner vehicle while they worked on my car and got it done in a couple days. Very friendly too.

They listened to every detail I gave them on my concerns. They identified the problems gave me a very reasonable quote and Kyle kept in constant touch with me on other issues identified and cost changes. They sent me pictures of parts that needed replacement beyond original quote and even let me look at the parts removed. They allowed me to use a loaner car for a night so I could go storm restoration response for my job, which was great. My car no longer creaks or jerks after turning corners after 2 years and I could not be happier. Thanks guys your efforts and work is greatly appreciated and I highly recommend your company.

Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service- Burt helped me out when I was there and he couldn't have provided better service. Rare these days! I was in the waiting room for a bit and saw how he conducted business for other customers, and how he treated his coworkers- polite, humorous, and respectful guy to be around. I had to drop off my 2020 Ford Edge for a brand new transmission. They dealt with my warranty, and kept me up-to-date as much as possible. I just received my car on Tueday, however, there was an issue. Robbie listened to me and didn't make me feel like I was losing my mind. Robbie found out the issue and my car drives so smoothly. Burt was awsome aswell, very informative, and I appreciate him helping me when he definitely didn't have to. Kyle was great to. If you are have transmission issues I 100% would suggest Cottman. These three gentlemen went above and beyond to show great customer service.

I brought my 2020 F150 4x4 to Cottman transmission for a bearing noise coming from my front differential. I spoke to owner Rob, Bert and Robbie and they diagnosed what caused the initial problem make early bearing failure. They repaired my truck in a timely manner. Highly recommend!Franco

They had me bring my car in and said it may take until the next day, they finished it by that afternoon ahead of schedule. It seems to be running fine however I dont drive everyday and havent driven beyonf a few miles so far.

My transmission (66RFE) was slipping badly as soon as it would shift into 5th gear. During disassembly Robbie found a broken snap ring which was allowing the 5th gear to go into a “neutral” position and cause slippage in the O/D clutch pack. Robbie performed a complete rebuild (with updated components) in a timely manner at a very reasonable price point, and gave me a 3yr. warranty. They also provided me with a loaner vehicle while my truck was down. Robbie took plenty of time to answer all of my questions throughout the rebuild. I Have nothing but good things to say about the whole Cottman staff from the counter to the shop. Trustworthy people here.

I have used them before for my rear wheel bearings on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler and they started to leak, I asked them to help me out on the price since I have spent $3000 in a few month's on new front axels and whole brake job, they did the work and helped me on the price along with doing the rear brakes. Thanks to all the employees there, a fine bunch of guys.

Transmission went out on my 2013 Focus back in May. I first called Semmens Transmission and they told me that I would have to take it to the dealership to get it fixed. I then called Cottman's transmission and they told me that all I would need was a clutch kit and they could fix it for me. The repair was expensive but they allowed me to make payments and when I had it all paid off, they had my vehicle fixed within two business days. I really appreciate the great quality work done on my vehicle and how fast it was done. Although it was expensive, I know that I still saved a lot of money by taking it to Cottman's instead of the dealership. Thank you so much and God bless!

Great experience here. Mark is awesome. Impeccable dad jokes. I am not familiar with the inner workings of a vehicle, and I felt like he explained things to me respectfully and kept it real. I turned down a honda dealer diagnostic & quote to have my CRV serviced here and have absolutely no regrets.

I recently brought in my prized possession (aka weekend sports car cruiser) for some preventative maintenance (master clutch cylinder replacement, clutch fluid change, oil change, etc.) and was really impressed with the level of customer service from both the Manager and Owner of Clarkston Auto & Transmission. Not only were they very responsive on the communication front, but they also charged a very reasonable price for the work performed (especially given the labor hours involved).
